"Genuine Leather" Isn't What You Think

Most people see the "Genuine Leather" label and assume it's high quality. In reality, it’s one of the lowest grades of leather — often made from leftover scraps, bonded together, and stamped to look like real grain. The term is outdated, and the product? Prone to peeling, cracking, and wearing out quickly.

Not All Leather Is Created Equal

Bonded Leather: Scraps glued together. Cheap and short-lived. Genuine Leather: Mass-produced, sanded, and painted. Looks okay at first, but lacks durability. Top Grain: Better quality, but still sanded and treated, losing natural character. Full Grain: The highest quality. Untouched surface. Naturally strong. Ages beautifully.
